The Best BIC Shavers

The best shaver, or razor, is something that varies with each person. But what I can tell you is that I have used many different types and what I consider to be the best of the best. Even though BIC doesn’t have a wide range of shavers like Gillette or Schick, they do have a razor in particular that I love. But let me review a couple of styles of razors so that you can be the judge.

The Classic BIC Disposable Razors

If you are in an emergency or travelling then the classic razor really is pretty much all you need. Of course it may not give you the best, or the closet, shave it still does the job. They are extremely cheap, like less than $1 for a 5 pack, and can be tossed in the garbage after a single use. There are two problems. The first is that they don’t shave close which means you will have to make multiple passes. The more passes you make, the more you increase your chance of being cut. The second is that they don’t handle thick hair very well. This will only lead to more problems so they should only be used to take care of a light 5 o’clock shadow.

The BIC Soleil Razors

BIC Soleil razors were an interesting concept but the main job that they were designed to do, doesn’t differentiate all that much from the BIC comfort 3 razors. They basically included scented handles to the comfort 3 razors. So check out what I think of the comfort 3 below:

The BIC Comfort Razors

These razors are right on par with other razor brands that offer disposable razors. They cut really well but will need to be rinsed often to prevent them from clogging up. The lube strips are the best but to be honest, I would rather put a little extra shaving foam on with a good razor rather than a great lube strip with a bad cutting one. Over all I would recommend these razors to most people. But there is another one that I prefer.

The BIC Metal Razors

BIC Metal Razors

The BIC Metal razor is my absolute favorite razor. It cuts my thick hair extremely well and very close to my skin. It uses a single blade which does not get clogged up. It only needs to be rinsed at the end of a shave. It has a great metal bar to help protect against cuts and nicks. This so far, is one in particular is my favorite razor compared to all of the other brands.

So in conclusion the BIC Metal razor is #1, and then the Comfort 3 series. Again, these are just my thoughts and I hope that you agree once you try them.
