Are Gillette Venus Breeze Razors Good?

Gillette has an amazing reputation for great razors and the Gillette Venus Breeze is no exception. When a woman shaves it isn’t just shaving away hair. Unlike traditional razors, the head of the Venus Breeze is much wider. This is to allow enough room for the shave bars. Now most people are not familiar with shave bars so let me explain. With traditional razors you need to use a shaving foam or gel to help lubricate the surface of the skin and to help raise hairs in an upward position. The shave bars do both of these things quickly and without a mess. You will be surprised at how great it feels because I think these also add to how effective the blades are.

This Gillette razor has 3 Venus blades which are in between both of the shaving bars. I think the reason why you can get such a smooth and close shave is because the blades are slightly below the surface. I have yet to get nicks or cuts from this razor which is something pretty rare. Even men who shave their bodies would benefit from this razor because of its great cutting ability.

But as much as I like this razor there are a couple of issues I should address. The head of the razor is pretty bulky because of the shaving gel bars. This can sometimes make it difficult to shave in more tight areas like the pelvic area. And the other problem is that the gel bars sometimes take a quick a bit of water to get them working properly. However, I only found that issue when using a brand new one.

Most people will love the smell of the white tea shaving bars. It is gentle and shouldn’t irritate your skin. So perhaps if you have sensitive skin then this would be the razor for you. Over all the Gillette Venus Breeze razor is a razor that I would recommend to my friends so I can honestly recommend it to you too.
