Gillette M3 Power

Gillette has broken new grounds with its introduction of the Gillette M3 Power that is sure to
please users everywhere with its powerful cartridge razor function.
Aesthetically, the Gillette M3 Power’s handle looks a bit thicker compared to that of Gillette’s Mach 3. It is
also slightly longer. What’s surprising is that for a model which has a powered cartridge system, it is still more
lightweight compared to the Mach 3 even with its battery installed. It makes the Gillette M3 Power a lot more
pleasing to handle.
You can turn the cartridge razor system on by simple pressing a power button located at the top middle section
of the handle. The Gillette M3 Power is compatible with the all the blades from Gillette’s Mach 3 series. The
blades that do come with the unit though are coated with a special finish that allows it to glide through your skin
better.

The most unique feature of the Gillette M3 Power Nitro Razor is the fact that it has a vibrating function. The
vibrations are claimed to be generated by what Gillette calls as “micropulses” which is advertised to be capable of
making the hair stick out even better as you shave them. This would mean that you would be able to do a closer
shave with the Gillette M3 Power. This feature causes a particularly pleasant sensation which may come out as weird
at first although you’ll get used to it soon enough. Many people may argue that it doesn’t really offer much
improvement in that department compared to its predecessor but personally I found that the Gillette M3 Power does
have reduced drag compared to the non-vibrating razors.
With regards to its performance in making a close shave, is just about perfect. Its razor blades don’t miss any
hair unfortunate enough to be on its path. That’s just about as close as you can get though but there’s hardly
anything to complain about in this area.
The Gillette M3 Power overall, presents the same kind of comfort and quality that the Gillette
Mach 3 buyers are all looking for while enhancing you shaving experience with its unique razor cartridge system and
micropulse technology. Some people may argue that its improvements are really not that noticeable compared to the
regular Mach 3 models but this is certainly all subjective although the only really apparent downside here is that
it runs on batteries which need to be replaced every now and then.
