If you are in the market for an electric shaver, you will find out very quickly that they aren’t cheap. Most brand name shavers are about $200 or more. The Syncro is no different. In terms of pricing, you may be able to pick one a reconditioned one for about $89.95.

The Braun 7526 comes with a base for quick recharging since it can be used with the cord or as a cordless shaver. The battery inside can last up to almost an hour and it takes about the same amount of time to change it. If you shave every couple of days, then a single charge should last you a couple of weeks. There is a battery indicator so you will know when you are getting low.

It has a head that can pivot to help sculpt around the curves of your face. It doesn’t just move forward and back but it also goes towards the side as well. The weight of this shaver is just right and fits in my hand with no problems. It doesn’t feel too big or too small.

If you have long hair I wouldn’t recommend that you use this razor. It doesn’t do well with long hairs or extremely thick and coarse hair.

Another awesome feature is that it comes with a cleaning station. You place the razor on to change and it also self cleans. However, you should also do some manual cleaning before popping it on. Don’t expect the self cleaning to do miracles because the fact is that it doesn’t perform them. Another problem is that you need to have extra cleaning cartridges. They seem to be used up quite quickly and this electric shaver cannot be washed under water.

The common elements you will receive with the Braun 7526 are the cleaning and charging system and a travel kit. But, if you happen to buy a reconditioned one, you won’t get these accessories.

This dry electric shaver will give you a close shave but not as close as some of the wet shavers. I like to use this particular shaver for touchup days or when I’m in a rush.
