BIC Disposable Razors

It all started in 1945 when Marcel Bich and his associated Edouard Buffard started their dream of manufacturing
fountain pens. They created what we know as today as BIC. Over the next 20 years they expanded to countries outside
of France to include Brazil, Italy, UK, USA, and others. It wasn't until the 1970s that they decided to take the
company in new directions. In 1975 the BIC Shaver was unleashed.
BIC's razors are designed for people to enjoy shaving without the expensive costs that other razors can cost.
They now have a wider range of disposable razors that you can find it almost any pharmacy or personal care
isle.
Although I don't believe they have lead the way with new advancements they have however provided a necessity
that everyone can enjoy no matter their income or location. You can buy a BIC razor that is similar to a
Gillette razor that utilizes replacement blades or you can opt for a 100% disposable
razor that is good for one or two shaves.

As the razor industry has changed, so has BICs approach to their lines of razors. You can still buy a simple
razor similar to that from 1975 but you can now buy a BIC razor that is geared more towards comfort. This is
especially important for people who have sensitive skin or other skin complications. This particular line of razors
would include the comfort line such as the Comfort 4 and Comfort Pivot razors.
Some of the BIC Comfort razors come with multiple blades, such as the Comfort
4, and many have spring loaded blades with help the razors adjust to the surface of your face and neck.
BIC doesn't offer a line of shaving creams or lotions like that of Gillette or Schick, you can use any of the
shaving aids that you feel comfortable with.
Although BIC doesn't cater to all aspects of shaving, they really do fill in a large gap when it comes to
disposable razors. This makes them one of the top razors brands in the market today. If you are travelling or can't
afford some of the other razors then a BIC razor will help keep you hair free at a fraction of the cost of the
others.
